With Green, Bradley and Wilcox all returning, and the additions of Courtney Lee, Jason Terry and Jared Sullinger, are the Celtics the favorite in the Eastern Conference? I say Bradley is returning because he missed the Eastern Conference Finals. I don't think their the favorites in the East, but who cares. The media has been picking the Heat for the past two seasons. Year one didn't work out for the Heat. And last year the same almost happened. I feel strongly that the Celtics would have taken out the Heat with a healthy roster that would of had Green, Bradley, and Wilcox.Plus a healthy Pierce.
I believe Rondo has more weapons, and he will be a year better. But if you look at the Heat, they've gotten better as well. They added Ray Allen, and Rashard Lewis. It's hard to say which players will impact their teams, and which players will get their teams over the hump. But I like the Celtics chances this year. I don't think will see Pierce, or KG off too much from last seasons play, only Pierce will get better, because he was dealing with MCL during the playoffs. So what do you think. Are the Celtics the favorites?

We won't start the season as favorites, but we will end the season as favorites.

I think this sum up perfectly the situation

The Heat obviously are the favorites. They are the world champs and have LBJ on their side. That said, we are right there just barely behind them, breathing heavily on their neck. And yes... Miami is frightened.

Don't worry, Lebron. Ray Allen will protect you from Rondo...
