"My mission is to kill," Terry said at the team's annual golf tournament at The International. "Whoever that is, whether it's the Heat, whether it's the Lakers. Hopefully both. That's my mission and that's what I'm here to do.
"I'm very excited. Obviously another opportunity to win a championship. That's what it's all about. There's no other motive here but to go out there and win, and win it all."
Terry knows the Lakers, and Heat all to well. Terry played against both teams in the 2011 playoffs during the Mavs title run. Terry also squared off against the Heat in the 2006 Finals. The Mavs, and Lakers have been two of the best in the West for the past decade. So of course Terry has some hate for the Lakers. Terry is the perfect player for the Celtics right now. So Terry's hate for both teams is valid. He fits right into what the fans want. We all hate two teams right now, and he understands it. When Terry says he wants to win it all. I truly believe him, and he doesn't mind his role at all.
