The Forum: Is the bench good enough?-ESPN LA
The Lakers have one of the best starting units in the NBA, but their bench drops off fast after that. Jamison is their best player on the bench. He's over the hill, but he had a solid season last year with the Cavs. Steve Blake, Jodie Meeks, Devin Ebanks, and Jordan Hill shape up the Lakers bench. Their is no wow factor there. Blake can hit a open three for the Lakers when he gets the chance, but how good is he on defense? Not very good at all. The Lakers have major holes on their bench, and I'd take depth any day. So do the Lakers have a good enough bench?

Our second unit can beat half the leagues first units I feel. Team green is just so stacked it's ridiculous. Boston will always have players will great skill sets and talents to throw at the opponent constantly throughout the game. 100% full throttle effort. It's going to be a bar fight that never ends. We are out to kill.

I think this team needs to go at every night. No nights off against the Wizards, or Cavs.
