The Globe reports that the Celtics may give Dampier a look.

Honestly the Celtics should save the money, and just give it to people who need it who work for the team. Dampier is a 37 year-old big who's past his prime, and honestly when was he really that great. I think the Celtics should pass, and wait for the waiver season. Another thing that report doesn't sound accurate. Troy Murphy has been on the Mavs all season.
The report also says that K-Mart hasn't been in contact with the Celtics.
