KG ended the Philly game with zero rebounds, and that doesn't happen every day. It's been 15 years since that happened to be exact. The Celtics didn't lose the rebounding game by that much. Philly won 36-32. Rondo had 9 rebounds, and Sully had 9 to pick up the slack.
Doc pointed out that the Celtics defense won them the game, and I agree with that. They held the 76ers to 39% shooting, and as Doc said when you shoot 53% you beat teams that shoot 39%. I think Doc touched on something crucial with the defense, and it helped last season, and Doc has yet to use the method consistently this season. Doc went to zone, and then he went back to man-to-man throughout the game.
I think it's good to change defensive looks throughout the game. The bench performed very well again. Green has been shooting, and he's averaging 16 a game in his last five games. The Celtics had one bad stretch as Doc puts it. They allowed the 76ers to get within 8 points after having a 21 point lead. The Celtics got their act together, and they finished the game strong. Good signs on defense, and that's what I want.

But can we do this without all the extra motivation?
