As each game goes by this season Ray Allen keeps me amazed. Every time the Wizards wanted to take a lead,or make a run Ray would hit a three. If Ray play's like this, and Rondo is Rondo this could be the best backcourt in the NBA. Ray had 27 points, and he shot 6/7 from three-point land. Their was a time in the first quarter when Ray missed two technical foul free throws. I was a little worried that he might have an off game.
Greg Stiemsma was eye-opening in his first career start: 21 minutes, 13 points, 7 rebounds and 2 blocks. He looked good with the starting unit. In the first quarter he made a big impact early with a pair of blocks. It got the crowd up as you can imagine. Paul Pierce had a solid game with 21 points, and 8 rebounds. He's not 100%,but it's a good sign that he could play so much in the second game of back-to-back.
Brandon Bass had 14 points, 7-13 FG and 6 rebounds. I think it's safe to say will get 15,and 6 from Bass every game. We needed him tonight, and he delivered. Kevin Garnett had points, 6 rebounds, 6 assist. He looked sharp for a second game in a back-to-back. The Celtics move to 500,and the team looks strong for the time being.

Well said, Shawn. Despite Ray Allen's age, this could be the best backcourt in the NBA, one of the best in history. Cousy and Sharman. Do they see that potential?
These days, winning the second game of a back to back, even against a relatively weak team, is like winning a darn championship!!!

This backcourt is overlooked. Do they have the best overall players at their position? I don't think so,but very close, and as a whole their the best without a doubt.
