Ray the latest Celtics injury that get's in the way?
He's 36, and a super freak at his age. Ray started off the season as the strongest Celtic. He was in shape, and he was carrying the scoring load. For the past month or so Ray has been in, and out of the lineup. We know the story Ray has accepted a role on the bench. Because during his 6 game departure. Avery Bradley stepped in, and impressed the entire green nation. So now Ray is out again with the same ankle. Rumors of surgery are out there, but of course Doc shoots the rumors down. I spoke about this durning his time out of the lineup. The fear of another Celtics injury cover up.
Ray should rest for the final two weeks of the season. I think Ray battles this all through the playoffs. I believe the Celtics need him to win a title. But their is an actual chance they don't need him. The Celtics are deep at the two, and Pietrus,and Sasha are giving the Celtics power. Bradley we all know the rise of his game. I think the way the Celtics are built they need all bodies. If I had a pick of any of the big four missing any time it would be Ray. I'm sure most fans would say the same. I think losing Bass would be a bigger disaster for the Celtics.
So guys, do the Celtics need him, or can they win without Ray?
