Various reports say KG and Pierce return to Boston on January 26 and March 7. Also told Nets are NOT playing Knicks Opening Night.

That's very far out in the season. It's pretty much half way through the season. At KG and Paul's age it's fair to say that perhaps one of them may not play in that game because of an injury. The NBA should have made it the first game of the year,or at least in the first month. The NBA screwed up for the fact that both teams will face off in the preseason twice. Even though KG and Paul will likely pass on a return to Boston in the preseason.

This will be post allstar break right? Rondo should definetly be back by then that's probably why the nba did that.
