Celtics Beat Post New Entry

Question of the day: Should we be concerned with Bradley yet?

Posted by shawn cassidy on September 25, 2012 at 7:00 AM

The Celtics, and injuries scare the crap out of me. Their never up front with injuries, and time frames can be  laughable. Last season they seemed to get a little better when talking about injuries. Now we face Avery Bradley's injury. Bradley endured two shoulder surgeries this off season. We knew that December was the time frame for Avery's return. But with Doc's comments what do you think?

"Not even close,'' Rivers told ESPNBoston.com. "I don't like to put a time limit on injuries, but I don't think you'll see him before December -- and there's a chance it could be closer to January.''

Another month won't hurt the Celtics, but when the Celtics push back returns. It raises questions in my mind. I also fear that Bradley doesn't comeback the same, or that maybe he has a set back on his growth from last season. I think it already sucks that he doesn't get camp again with the Celtics, or at least a full camp. I have more concerns that Bradley doesn't return to form from last season. How do you feel about Bradley's potential return in December or January?

I'm confident about his return.
Of course he will be rusty at the beginning, but the most important thing is to not force his return on the field. So, if he'll be ready in Jeanuary, he'll come back in January.
He is young and talented, he just need to be patient now

I agree with that as well Morena. He'll be ready by the playoffs, and we need him there the most. Wade watch out!

If it all depends on Bradley, we are in trouble. I'm not worried about him.

Avery will be fine. He is a tough, determined, and motivated kid. He will get the job done.
