Ainge likes the roster,and what's that mean to me?
I'm not going to read into Danny's words,and I'm not going to see any hidden messages. I think it's already clear,and it's been clear since the Perk deal,and frankly since the Ray,and KG trade that Danny will do anything,and whatever he wants no matter how we feel. The current roster doesn't wow me,and that's not a bad thing. I covered how I feel yesterday a little bit,but I will go over it again in a different way . This is the same roster that lost to the Heat. If I had a guess. I would say the Celtics are the second best in the East,and the Heat take the top crown. Does that mean the Heat win this season? A lot could happen from now,and until June. I like the Celtics up front against the Heat,and Rondo against whoever they have at point. I feel like we can beat the Heat,but so much will have to go right for the Celtics. Jeff Green could be an x-factor for the Celtics this time around,and I hope he is. Ainge spoke about the roster today,and this is what he had to say.
"We knew coming into the summer that we had limited resources and it’s proven to be very challenging," said Ainge. "It's been a chaotic week. There’s been a lot of time put in, but we’re still trying to build our roster. But we liked the guys that we’ve signed and the team that we have."
How close is he to finalizing the Celtics' roster?
"I don’t know the answer to that," he said. "We only make moves if we think they fit our parameters. We may be done. But we may not be."
I'm glad to see Wilcox in green,but I can't believe he got the entire mini mid-level. I hope he earns it.

But I tell you this: you have a God-given brain. READING IN BETWEEN THE LINES is part of what that brain is for. To say you won't do it, when the MASTER (in this case, Danny Ainge) speaks is to accept mental slavery, like all the other lapdogs in the Celtics Blogiverse and media world. Use your effing brain. That's what it's for.
