The Cleveland Cavaliers will own and operate an NBA Development League franchise in Canton.The team announced Thursday that it has acquired ownership of the former New Mexico Thunderbirds.

This is cool for me I grew up in Canton for 18 years. I still have a lot of love for my former state and city. Canton is already known for the Pro football hall of fame. I can remember growing up going to the Canton/Akron Indians games,and the stands were packed every game. I expect a good turnout to the games.
